Historian Charlie Thomforde will head a one-hour tour through the heart of Yardley. While strolling on Afton Avenue, Canal Street and Main Street, you will encounter the town's evolution from a single grist mill to a thriving, diverse community. Yardley's three bodies of water, its bridges, canal boats, trolleys, and railroad; its people, and life in small town American will all be part of the story.
Old photos of Yardley will be on display in the Library before and after the walk..
