Join Viva Downtown and Healthy Shasta for a walk during Walktober in downtown Redding. We'll start at Plantable Redding (enter across from the Riverfront Playhouse on Gold St) and stroll through their nursery and garden and then walk to the Eaton Victorian Garden and tour the new garden at the Eaton House Museum off West St with Mike Dahl. Along the way we'll hear from Zach Bonnin, Transportation Planner for the City of Redding updating us on new development downtown. The walk is just under 1.5 miles (roundtrip). Gather at 5:15 pm to hear from Kirkwood and Donna Hale, Co-Founders of Plantable Redding and we will start walking at 5:30 pm. Heavy rain will cancel.
