Thanks so much.As many as 10,000 white men and boys descended on downtown Atlanta on September 22, 1906. Their targets were Black people, Black communities, and Black businesses. At least 25 Black men and women were lynched over the four days of terror from downtown Atlanta to East Point, though some accounts recorded up to 100 deaths.
Please join us at Auburn Avenue Research Library as we remember these men and women. Face masks are suggested. Parking at the library is very limited and we would suggest utilizing one of several pay lots available nearby.
