The City of Largo invites downtown business owners and managers to the upcoming Downtown Business Meeting on Thursday, May 23, from 9:30am to 10:30am. The meeting will take place at Sage’s Bistro, located at 883 West Bay Drive in Largo.City team members from the Engineering and Economic Development Divisions will provide an overview into local roadway and community development projects near Downtown Largo. These include the West Bay Drive Improvements Plan, in partnership with Pinellas County, focusing on the 2-mile stretch of West Bay Drive between Clearwater-Largo Road and the Belleair Causeway Bridge.
In addition, updates on the Clearwater-Largo Road Community Redevelopment District (CRD) expansion plan will be shared. Currently, the CRD project is in the outreach phase, soliciting stakeholder input from residents, workers, business owners, and commuters in the area. The City’s recreation team will also provide information on upcoming summer events in Downtown Largo.
