Calling all young superheroes and princesses! Join the Downtown Alhambra Kids Costume Contest for a spooktacular time! Downtown Alhambra Business Association brings you its Annual Kids Halloween Costume Contest on Sunday, October 29th 2023 at Alhambra Pumpkin Run Halloween Festival.
Meet us for a “spooktacular” costume contest at the Alhambra Pumpkin Run & Halloween Fest Main Stage, located on 100 South 2nd Street (between W. Main St. and Commonwealth Ave).
Costume Contest begins at 11:30am and ends at 1:00pm followed by trick-or-treating on Main Street for the kids from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Costume Contest is located on our main stage at the festival in front of Alhambra High School and across from City Hall on 2nd Street, south of the Farmers Market.

ENJOY TRICK OR TREATING DOWN MAIN ST., DOWNTOWN ALHAMBRA: 1:00PM - 3:00PM
- Visit over 30 participating businesses in a fun walk around Downtown Alhambra.
- Trick or treat bags available while supplies last for costume contestants.

- Please note we are not printing maps this year. We're keeping it digital to save paper. Thank you for understanding.
TIMELINE:
- 11:00AM: Registration booth opens for check-in at the Downtown Alhambra booth north of the Main Stage.
- 11:30AM – 1:00PM: Annual Halloween Kids Costume Contest on the Main Stage
- 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Trick or Treating - Pick up a FREE Trick or Treat Bag* and Map* at the Downtown Alhambra Booth next to the Main Stage.
COSTUME CONTEST AGE CATEGORIES:
- Ages 0 – 2 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
- Ages 3 - 4 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
- Ages 5 – 6 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
- Ages 7 - 10 Years Old: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize
- FINALS: 1st Place winner from each category moves on to compete for GRAND PRIZE of $100 Sponsored by Raising Cane's!
HOW TO REGISTER:
Press the "SELECT TIME" button ( on the top right corner of this page ) to select the corresponding time for the age categories below:
* AGES 0 - 2 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 11:30AM – 11:50AM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 3 - 4 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 11:50AM – 12:10PM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 5 - 6 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 12:10PM – 12:30PM TIME SLOT)
* AGES 7 - 10 YEARS OLD: (SELECT AND REGISTER FOR 12:30PM – 12:50PM TIME SLOT)
* ALL AGES: 1st Place winner from each category moves on to compete for the $100 grand prize sponsored by: Raising Cane's at: 12:50PM
The festival includes activities for the entire family including our Certified Weekly Farmers Market, live music, Beer & Cocktail Garden (for the parents), kids zone, rock climbing wall, petting zoo and trick-or-treating on Main Street.
