The Asheville Downtown Association is excited to announce the 2025 season of Downtown After 5, bringing the beloved music series to a new location at Pack Square Park. This move offers attendees more space to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, all while taking in the stunning views of Downtown Asheville and the surrounding mountains. The event will now take place on select Fridays throughout the season, beginning at 5 p.m., with free admission for everyone. Downtown After 5 is presented by Fred Anderson Subaru and produced by the Asheville Downtown Association.

This year, Downtown After 5 is proud to partner with several local organizations, adding a community-focused touch to each event. Additional features include performances from local artists, dance groups, and live art, as well as the introduction of a dedicated Kids Zone!

Kick off the season with soul, rock, and funk from Caitlin Krisko and the Broadcast, with opener The Dirty French Broads. This event ties in with Downtown in Bloom, celebrating new floral installations and sustainability efforts in partnership with a local non-profit.

Celebrate Juneteenth with the award-winning Southern Avenue, blending blues, soul, and gospel. DJ Phantom Pantone kicks off the night with high-energy beats. This event honors African American heritage and culture in partnership with MLK Jr. Association & Black Wall Street.

🎤 Headliner: Mustache the Band
🎶 Opener: Take the Wheel
🏳️‍🌈 Partner: Blue Ridge Pride
Relive the best of ‘90s country with Mustache the Band and their high-energy classics. Take the Wheel sets the stage for a night of nostalgic fun. This event is in partnership with Blue Ridge Pride, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Western North Carolina.

Each Downtown After 5 event offers a family-friendly environment with live music, food vendors, and a vibrant community atmosphere. New this year, we’re introducing a Kids Zone, alongside live art and dance performances. Arrive early, grab your favorite spot in the park, and enjoy the festivities! Local restaurants and shops will stay open late, making it the perfect night out in Downtown Asheville.
