7pm: Doors open, kava & cacao bar open
7:30pm-9:15pm: Downtempo Dance with Arula
9:15pm-10:30pm: Sound Healing & Closing Circle
Arula is a singer-songwriter, electronic music producer, and embodied-movement guide.
She views music & movement as sacred expressions of a universal language; a language that unites and empowers people from all backgrounds.
Her songs are inspired by our collective narrative as well as her own personal journey of connecting deeper to one’s truest self by dropping the false stories that we’ve been told; that by releasing our conditioning we step into a greater place of potential & activation, and this is what is needed for healing ourselves, and our planet.
As a lover of many varieties of music she interplays with genres, while difficult to categorize her music is often described as haunting, sultry, and sacred. Her voice is a bridge to ethereal realms, unparalleled but reminiscent of Kate Bush, Florence Welch, & Sevdaliza.
Arula has performed & facilitated at a multitude of West Coast venues & festivals (Serenity, Oregon Eclipse, Unity) and has co-produced experiential events such as Sensual (NOVA/Heather Christie), Pulse (Mezzanine SF/Jeremy Falk Yoga) & more.
She has collaborated with various musicians & producers including Aurka, Alexis Flow, David Starfire, DrumSpyder, Eje, Fraktal, Heather Christie, Jef Stott, Kompass, Vitamindevo and others.
