About this Event

The DKNJ Allstars are led by Mahwah, NJ native Dave Kopec: A vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist fluent in guitar, slide guitar, mandolin and five string banjo. With over 30 years of professional experience, Dave has toured the entire Eastern US and shared the stage with the likes of Levon Helm, Jorma Kaukonen, Tom Constanten, Colonel Bruce Hampton, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Commander Cody, Les Paul, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and Oteil Burbridge to name a few. His band Franklin Turnpike has been a mainstay on the local music scene for the last two decades and has the distinction of helping spawn the musical careers of the great Jason Crosby (piano, violin ) and Joe Russo (drums). Dave continues to lead his own groups and lend his sound to high profile musicians whenever his busy schedule permits. Most recently, Dave was tabbed by Steven Van Zandt to play the role of Musical Director for Rascals front man Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Edward Brigati for his most recent project.

The DKNJ AllStars consist of Adam Roberts (bass), Jay Dittamo drums), David Tarzian (keyboards , tenor sax), Michael Jaskewicz (guitar) and Teagan Taylor (vocals, trumpet) . Individually, their exceptional talents have enabled them to perform with the likes of Lenny White, Ace Frehley, Keith Emerson, Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Jose Feliciano, Willie Colon, Richie Havens, Robert Randolph, Chuck Berry, Jackie Greeen, and Melba Moore, among others.
