We hope you can join us at The Grove Theatre, under the Central Library right in the heart of Eastbourne town, for another full evening of ‘across-the-board’ Northern Soul.Those of you who have joined us at one (or both!) of our previous outings at this fab venue know how special it is to us. There is a great wooden dancefloor and separate break-out area with fully-licensed bar. The location is fantastic, and literally just a 2-minute walk from Eastbourne Railway Station (and main town centre bus stops).
Our very special guest DJ for the evening will be David Green from Brighton, who has been playing soul and RnB for about 25 years. He was a host of 'Down in the Basement' in Brighton in the early 2000s and, more recently, "The Flipside" and "Dig the Beat". In addition to this, David has recently guested at "Loose Caboose", MG Blues" (Manchester) and "Across the Tracks". As usual, the evening will also feature residents Stu & Steve.
Both of our previous events at The Grove have completely sold out and we are expecting (hoping!!) for the same this time. ACCESSIBILITY
At the present time we regret there isn't an access point to and from the venue that a mobility impaired person can use unaided. Sadly, no thought was given to such provision when buildings like the Central Library, in which the theatre is located, were designed.
This event may include sustained flashing lighting that could affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.
