DOWN IN THE BASEMENT 2 - Northern Soul at The Grove Theatre (Eastbourne)

We hope you can join us at The Grove Theatre, under the Central Library right in the heart of Eastbourne town, for another full evening of ‘across-the-board’ Northern Soul.
This is still a new venue (for us) and judging by the feed-back from our previous dance we know that you love it already. There is a great wooden dancefloor and separate break-out area with fully-licensed bar. The location is fantastic, and literally only 2-minutes’ walk from Eastbourne Railway Station (and main town centre bus stops).
Special guest DJ for the evening will be Manus Doherty from Brighton, who is a real gentleman and record collector, having been involved in the Northern Soul scene for the past 50+ years. He will be joined on the night by residents Stu & Steve.
The last event back in September was a complete sell-out and we are expecting (hoping for!!) the same this time. ACCESSIBILITY
At the present time we regret there isn't an access point to and from the venue that a mobility impaired person can use unaided. Sadly, no thought was given to such provision when buildings like the Central Library, in which the theatre is located, were designed.
This event will include sustained flashing lighting that may affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.
