For 39 years plus, Down Home has been carrying the gospel message all over Michigan, as well as surrounding states. Ranging as far west as Iowa and east into New York, traveling from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Churches, city parks, High School gyms, county fairs, music festivals, campgrounds, county jails and state prisons have been the setting for this group to sound forth their unique musical style.
Join us at the Gospel Music Barn for a delightful array of free programs every Saturday at 6 p.m., and 7:15 p.m. with occasional start times at 4:30 p.m. Enjoy inspiring Sunday worship sessions beginning at 10 a.m. Our events feature diverse performances, including bluegrass, gospel, country, and quartet music, with talented guest musicians and speakers. We offer ample seating indoors, including covered outdoor options, ensuring you remain comfortable regardless of the weather. Ceiling fans provide a cool atmosphere, and parking is conveniently available on-site at no cost.
Snacks and Meals
During our music concerts, we offer affordable snacks and concessions for your enjoyment. There is a 30-minute break between our regularly scheduled music programs. Food and beverages are available beginning at 5 p.m. for sale.
