Down by the Sea Cooking Class on 25 September is fully booked with a long waiting list. The next class with the same delicious menu will be hosted on Wednesday, 2 October 2024. There are 6 spots available at R500 per person - normal price R795 per person. Join Yudhika for a cookery class and seafood feast. She will take you through the basics of choosing seafood and also share hints and tips to preparing a delicious seafood spread.
On the menu, moreish prawn bites, prawn madras cooked in a thick sauce with kasori methi, indian spices and a touch of coconut milk, Durban style fish curry, and traditional crab curry made the old fashioned way with large deep sea crab, spices and tamarind. We will be making roti and decadent semolina pudding or Soji for dessert.
The class is followed by a sit down dinner. Includes recipes, notes, ingredients and a sit down dinner.
