Down 2 Clown is coming to nipaluna/Hobart!Join award-winner performer and facilitator Anna Thomson for a mini journey into your seriously silly self through contemporary clown! Through duo and group exercises, driven by movement and working through the body, embrace the joy in letting go of preconceived ideas of what 'funny' is, to embrace and celebrate your innate ridiculousness.
This is not clowning for kids' parties, or related to 'scary' clowns in any way - it will be super joyful and playful! No experience necessary, and all welcome (18+).
An 8 week series will follow mid March - mid May where you can dive into this wonderful artform more fully, but come and get a taster in a half day workshop.
