Dover Town Council and Co-Host Future Foundry will bring Dover Winter Light Up in 2024!
On Saturday, 7th December 2024, Pencester Gardens will play host to a range of stalls offering festive gifts, entertainment, as well as food and drinks for you to enjoy. Co-host Future Foundry will lead the lantern procession and workshops leading up to the event. The lantern procession and big builds will illuminate Dover in collaboration with local artists and lantern makers, and you can take part in these activities. Special thanks to co-hosts Future Foundry and other partners, partially funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Port of Dover local organisations, volunteers, and artists involved in this unique Dover winter season event!
Public Lantern Making Workshops
FREE public workshops to make STAR lanterns ready to come and take part in the procession!

Fri 29th Nov 4.30-8.30pm - Biggin Hall CT16 1DW (behind the Town Hall/Maison Dieu/War Memorial)
Sat 30th Nov 11-1pm 2-4pm - Charlton Centre, CT161TT (up the stairs opposite the wool shop)
Sun 1st Dec 11-1pm 2-4pm - Biggin Hall
Wed 4th Dec 4.30-8.30pm - Biggin Hall
