About this Event
Waypoint Crew is committed to uniting a close-knit crew of outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers (ages 20s-40s) through exploring spectacular routes in London, the UK, and beyond.
This time, we’re heading to the breathtaking White Cliffs of Dover for a 17km coastal hike to Deal – and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome back James Wark, a qualified mountain guide, to lead the way! With James’ expert guidance, we’ll traverse the stunning chalk cliffs, enjoy incredible sea views, and wrap up this epic day at a coastal pub in Deal for some well-earned drinks.
Please note, this is a dog-friendly walk! However, bringing your dog is at your own discretion, as the route is long and includes some exposed sections along the cliffs.

Event Schedule:
11:30am – 12:00pm: Meet outside Dover Priory Station to connect with your fellow hikers and kick off the day with breakfast pastries, courtesy of Waypoint Crew! We’re expecting around 18-30 participants for this adventure. If you’re travelling by train, there’s one arriving at 10:15am from London St Pancras - giving you enough time to grab a coffee. If you’re driving, let us know - you may be able to coordinate lifts in the group chat.
12:00pm: The hike begins! Please be ready to depart promptly at 12:00pm. If you’re running late, contact Bethany Robb at Waypoint Crew on 07713636371.
2:00pm (approx.): Time for a well-deserved picnic lunch stop. Don’t forget to bring your own packed lunch!
4:30pm: The hike wraps up in Deal, where we’ll head to a local pub - The Port Arms to celebrate the day with well-deserved drinks! There are plenty of food options available in Deal if you want to grab fish & chips etc afterwards.
Important Travel Information:
We recommend buying a return ticket to Deal, as this will cover both your journey to Dover and return from Deal to London.

If you are booked onto the hike, please fill in one of these Consent Forms no later than the night before. You will not be allowed to partake in the hike unless you have filled out this form.

Photographers and videographers may join this event. By signing up, you consent to the use of your photos and videos captured during the day for marketing and promotional purposes.
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled. If you can no longer attend, you’re more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else; however, please email us if you do so.
