All central Missouri doulas are invited to attend this day-long event, designed to help local birthworkers connect and collaborate. Check out the schedule:
Morning Session: Midwife Panel Get to know your local homebirth midwives and learn what it looks like to support a client in their care.
Break for Brunch: Walk to a downtown resturant to eat and celebrate. No better way to get to know someone than over a plate of pancakes! Midwives welcome to join.
Afternoon Session: Q&A Roundtable A safe and uplifting environment to ask your real & raw questions about birthwork. Toss ideas around with doulas from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Mini Workshop: Sarah Plymire MS, RD, LD Hear from a Registered Dietician from Bamboo Nutrition who's passionate about the nutitional transitions of motherhood. You'll walk away with some helpful tools and a great local reference for you clients.
**Attendance: With respect to the event and other professionals in attendance, if you purchase a ticket, please plan to stay for the duration of the event.
**Tickets & Cost: To keep the event affordable and for planning purposes, tickets are nonrefundable unless you are attending a birth. Brunch is not included in the price of your ticket and must be paid for individually.
