Douglas Co Parks Advisory Board Meeting - Thurs MAY 15 at 10 AM, Courthouse Room 216

The parks advisory board is composed of seven members (Jerry Chartier, Chair; Phil Bigler, Vice Chair; Craig Ferber; Jeana Beam; Troy Wilder). Currently the board has two vacancies.
The board is appointed by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners that serves as an advisory body to assist and advise the Commissioners. The Parks Advisory Board reviews park polices and rules for the operation of the department and recommends actions to the Parks Director and Commissioners.
At their last meeting on December 19, 2024, they voted 3-1 to recommend sale of Pass Creek Park. Bigler, Beam and Wilder in favor. Kivonna Coccia opposed. She has since resigned from the board.
