Join us for the 13th anniversary of this very special event in memory of Doug Williams who would have been 62 years old on May 22. Doug was a graduate of Montclair High School and a beloved member of the Essex Running Club when he was killed by a hit and run driver on Upper Mountain Ave in October 2011. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the memorial scholarships awarded every year in Doug’s honor to recognize two deserving college bound seniors at Montclair High School who have been outstanding in track and cross country while demonstrating academic excellence, leadership and community service. You can attend the in person fun run at Fleet Feet Montclair on Sun, May 26 at 7:30 am or complete the event virtually. There is a special 8 mile memorial route passing by several landmarks in remembrance of Doug or two shorter routes (5K and 10K). The cost is only $10 per person or you can make a donation to support the scholarship if you are unable to run. Everyone who registers or makes a donation will be entered in a raffle for a $50 Fleet Feet gift card. There will be some light refreshments back at Fleet Feet after the run.
