Welcome to the first edition of Double Trouble @ Moonshine Park!
What?
Double Trouble is a one-day, two round Doubles disc golf tournament. The modified best-shot doubles rule applies where only two tee shots in a row from the same player can be taken.
There are two divisions available:
1) Open (no rating caps or restrictions)
2) Mixed
Mixed division is for teams of:
* male + female
* female + female
* adult + junior
* junior + junior.
The guideline for entry to the Mixed division is that the total PDGA rating for the team is less than 1700.
Registration is capped at 54 teams, so get in quick so you don't miss out (there will be a wait-list if needed).
Where?
Moonshine Park in Upper Hutt.
Parking, bathrooms and water are available on site.
When?
Saturday 31 January 2026.
Player briefing at 8:45am, with round one starting at 9:15am.
Lunch will be one hour from 12pm to 1pm, with round two starting at 1:15pm.
Timings may vary depending on speed of play.
How to enter?

Catering?
Thank you to Eve Chin who has offered to provide catering for this event. This is optional, and if you wish to partake, payment for catering is on the day via bank transfer or cash. $5 for two sausages and a drink or $10 for all-you-can-eat. If the weather is a scorcher, ice-blocks for $1 will be available.

REFUND POLICY
Greater Wellington Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
100%: refund will be issued for anyone pulling out before 8pm on 16th of January.
Any withdrawals after 8:01pm 16th January will not be eligible for any refund unless the space can be filled with the wait-list. Players may transfer their entry to another person if there is no one on the wait-list.
