About this Event
The newly-appointed musical director of the Portland Baroque Orchestra, Julian Perkins, joins Tesserae’s own Ian Pritchard for a program of works for double harpsichord. Ian and Julian (and, for that matter, Tesserae’s Alexandra Opsahl) are old school buddies, having graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London in the earlier part of this century, and they can’t wait to revisit some of the fantastic two keyboard music that they performed in their youth. This program will feature Bach’s Concerto in C Minor for Two Harpsichords, BWV 1060 as well C.P.E. Bach’s F Major, in addition to other suites and concertos.
