Double Hoop Workshop at The Bird's Nest Circus Arts

In this all-levels hoop dance workshop, participants will learn a variety of off-body tricks and modes of manipulation using two hoops. The main areas of technique to be explored are:
-Two Hoops One Hand (Split time, Butterflies, Isolation vs. Extension, Isolation vs. Antispin, Ocho grips)
-Hoop Weaves
-Double Hoop Body Locks
-and a few other miscellaneous tricks!

While some of these techniques are considered intermediate, beginner foundations and drills will be included for folks that are just starting their double hoop journey. The goal is for students of all levels to walk away with something new to practice!
Having some single hoop experience, such as weaves and isolations, will make many of these skills more accessible.
The cost of this workshop is $25 per person.
Extra hoops will be available for practice and purchase.
