Join us for a special double event at The Indiana Theater! Come to Poeming Through the Dark, our poetry open mic, & stay for a viewing of Come See Me in the Good Light, starring Andrea Gibson & Megan Falley. Your $5 admission covers one or both events, & all proceeds go directly to supporting the historic Indiana Theater.
About the film: Trying to contextualize & come to terms with a terminal cancer diagnosis comes with heartbreak & heavy realizations. Colorado Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson approaches their situation with honesty & art. Alongside their fellow poet partner, Megan Falley, Gibson works towards a big final performance, bringing their spoken word skills to life on an otherwise grim topic. The true beauty comes from within their relationship.

Sign-ups are in person & first come, first serve. The sheet will be out 15 minutes before the start of the event. There will be about 15–20 slots, & each reader will have roughly 3–5 minutes to share (4 minutes is a safe bet).
