Help us welcome new Lorcana players while also kicking-off the first Lorcana tournament for Galactic Games! Come check out their brand new store in Raleigh NC and help us grow the Lorcana scene in the triangle!
Because this is an event tailored to newer players and a new store in our community, we thought it would be fun to set a deck budget cap of $50! For anyone new, we'll have plenty of singles available to scoop up without having to break the bank for the meta, and for the seasoned players, have some fun brewing up a new deck!
Rules:
We will run 55 minute Swiss rounds and play in a best-two-out-of-three games format. Number of Swiss rounds and Top Cut will be determined based on attendance.
Top Cut will be played out in a single elimination bracket. The player with a higher seed will determine who plays first.
This event will be ran through Melee.gg You will need to create a Melee account if you don’t have one.
Decklists will be required. The $50 cap will be enforced based on the TCG market prices. We understand prices change daily so we'll be somewhat lenient and will compare price history from the week-of when needed.

Registration will begin at 11:00am with round 1 starting at noon.
Players will receive 2 randomized booster packs (Sets 1-7) with registration into this event. Yes, Set 1 included!
Prize Structure:
1st place: Aurora - Waking Beauty enchanted
2nd place: Jafar - Newly Crowned enchanted
3rd: 8 packs
4th: 8 packs
5-8th: 4 packs each
Prize packs will also be randomized booster packs (Sets 1-7).
