Guess what? We are Doubling Down…
After 9 long years of being asked to host another Charity Fundraiser, we are back - and this time it’s going to bigger and better than last time, and you are invited!
We introduce to you all ‘Double Down’ - the second instalment from us all in aid of some amazing charities. This time, we will be supporting Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and The British Heart Foundation. These charities carry out some fantastic work, are close to us personally, as to many people we know and, of course, need ongoing support from the public to continue their activities.
The event will be held on Saturday, 8th March 2025 in Llanidloes Community Centre, giving you all ample time to get this once-in-a-decade event in your diaries!
We have set an ambitious £10,000 target for this year - double what we raised in 2016! We need your help to achieve this!
Why should I attend the event?
Double Down 2025 will not be one to miss with:
The event is free for everyone to attend!
Full Casino and Crupiers with Blackjack and Roulette, and some big prizes to be won
Live Music from the fantastic Dylan Penri who smashed it at the last event
Evolution DJ until late
Full bar with live Six Nations from 4pm on the same day
Food Stalls throughout the evening
Games for everyone
Photographer and videographer to capture the whole evening

Invite - This is an open event - everyone is welcome!

This is a Fancy Dress Event - Following on from the previous event with the 1920’s Gangsters and Flappers Theme, we are inviting you all to be Music Maestros and Icons for the event itself! We want your best Elton, Shania, Freddy, Kylie, Robbie, Taylor, Prince, Elvis and many more music sensations to attend Double Down 2025 - who will you be? The more outrageous the outfit, the better!
The Charities themselves will also be sending updates to us all on their activities and sharing with us how our combined efforts will make a difference to so many people - stay tuned for these on our Social Media pages
Several of you have already committed to travel a long way to attend this event which we cannot thank you enough for. Places to stay and visit while you are in Mid Wales have all been included in our Linktree - check them out!
We will also be sharing details on transportation/taxis nearer the time to get you to and from the event
We are so excited to organise this event, raise vital funds for these amazing charities and bring you all a night to remember!
