Dane Rock, 10m, is a shallow fringing kelp reef providing many swim throughs and over hangs, as well as an expanse of sandy bottom that slopes off away from the rock itself. It is relatively sheltered from the current and the usual suspects of crustaceans, cnidarians and larger pelagic fish can be found.Poltexas Reef: 18m, Another site only accessible by boat, a rocky kelp reef with a maximum depth of 18m. Heavy abundance of kelp fish including, wrasse, bass, pollack and their juvenile forms are often seen here. Also catsharks, crustaceans, nudibranchs and seals can be spotted. Slightly deeper so a great introductory drift dive.
