Pol are brothers Ruben Pol and Matthijs Pol. The band takes musical inspiration from bands such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Japan, New Order and Visage. The brothers have managed to create their own world in which they effortlessly combine their passion for music and fashion. In doing so, they use their own experiences as successful models (worked for brands such as Saint Laurent, Gucci, Fendi, Valentino and Dior, among others). The rush of the fashion world can clearly be heard in their music. Their performance at Noorderslag in January 2024 was showered with rave reviews and the latest single Masks suggests the best for this sensational new romantic / new wave band.

Brussels-based Another Dancer is outdated, wild at heart and elegantly shy. They make fresh, snotty, neurotic art-rock deeply rooted in 80s/90s DIY aesthetics. Their debut-album ‘I Try to Be Another Dancer’, out on Aguirre and Bruit Direct, balances gently between forgotten pop hits and broken sound experiments. In their world, any shitload of weird, random, and badly synchronized sounds unveil broken-hearted pop mastery.
