You can expect to hear original music from their 16 CD releases as well some covers of their favorite artists. Dotsero is an unstoppable band of true musicianship.The Jakarta Band creates a unique sound that reflects the African-American rhythmic dance music that mixes soul, jazz, and rhythm and blues. We create a ‘FUNKY’ sound that is evident by the people who start dancing the minute they hear our band. The Earth, Wind, and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Motown, Bruno Mars and Prince influence in many of our songs is a big crowd-pleaser and has universal appeal that surpasses musical genres and cultural and geographical boundaries. We perform songs from the 70’s Disco/Dance, 80’s Rock, New Jack Swing 90’s, to today’s Pop tunes, and even a little Country.
