The 2025-2026 Dot Jazz Series kicks off on Saturday September 6th with a concert by the Sam Spear Quintet:Sam Spear - alto sax

The Sam Spear Quintet delivers hard-hitting bop, soulful swing, and blistering ballads. Composed of two saxes, piano, bass, and drums, SSQ performs an eclectic mix of original tunes and cleverly crafted arrangements of jazz standards. The group is showcased on Spear's debut album First Pitch (2024), available on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms.
$15 in advance, $20 at the door. Students $10. $5 for EBT/WIC card holders. Kids under 18 free at the door.
