Dorset Mammal Group, in association with Wilding Wimborne, will talk about hedgehogs on Wednesday 30th April 2025 at Wimborne Methodist Hall. Come and see how you can make your garden and our town more hedgehog friendly. Hedgehog numbers have been in serious decline over the last 25 years. Working together and making small changes in our gardens and local areas, we can save this much loved garden visitor.This talk is one of Planet Wimborne's Spring Green events to celebrate Earth Day (https://www.earthday.org/) and you can find out more about the other events here: https://planetwimborne.org/.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Refreshments are available. The talk should last about one hour.
We welcome any donations on the night to help us cover the costs of the event.
Travel arrangements
The event is being held at Wimborne Methodist Church hall. Please consider travelling to the event by walking, cycling or by bus (buses will drop you off in Wimborne Square and the venue is about a 10 minute walk away). If you do drive (and there are car parks in the town), please consider car sharing.
Accessibility and toilets
The Hall is located on the first floor. There is a ramp up to the front of the building. The entrance door is on the left and is operated using an automatic opening door button. There is a lift directly ahead to access the first floor. There are toilets on the first floor and accessible toilets on the ground and first floor.
