About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to the 2024 Dorset College Conferring Ceremony. All graduating students are invited to attend an in-person ceremony to receive their parchments.The ceremony will take place in the Hogan Suite, Croke Park, on Thursday the 28th of November 2024. We will be holding two separate ceremonies on this day with two guests per student permitted to attend. The 10 am ceremony will be for graduates of the following co-horts:
- CIPD - Foundation Certificate in People Practice
- CIPD - Associate Diploma in People Management
- Healthcare Support
- Pre-Nursing Studies
- Maternity Care
- Leadership & Management
- BSc in Computer Science
- Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business Degree - Part Time, Class of 2024
- Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business Degree - Part Time, Class of 2023
We will need to be strict on time and we will require you to be at the venue by 8:45 am so you have time to gain admission, receive your seat allocation, get your robes, take photographs, move to the Hogan Suite and find your assigned seat. You must sit in your assigned seat.
The ceremony will begin promptly, so please ensure you are seated 20 minutes before the start time. Each graduating student may bring up to two guests. Tickets for you and your guests can be reserved via Eventbrite. When booking, please register all tickets (for yourself and up to two guests) under your name and email address.

Registration will remain open until November 15. Please don’t miss out, as we cannot guarantee ticket availability after this date.
Event Photography and Gown
Links to reserve your gown and book photography are provided in the previous email sent to you. Please make these arrangements in advance, as the use of the ceremonial robe is mandatory for participation in the ceremony.
