About this Event
Welcome to doreancon 2025!
Join us at Silicon Valley Reformed Baptist Church this October 7-8 for the first ever conference held around the dorean principle. This year's theme will be "The Stewardship of Scripture".
Our speakers will discuss topics such as:
- The pricelessness of the Word
- Who owns the manuscripts and critical texts?
- The commercialization of bible societies
- Copyright and its consequences on the bible.
In addition we intend for this conference to be interactive by including lighting talks, unconference time, and dedicated collaboration time.
A preconference event on the afternoon Octobert 6th will feature a debate on the topic "It is a sin to sell Bible editions".
During the conference, meals will be provided.
