About this Event
Black Fathers, do matter. Their involvement in the lives of their children, as well as advocating for them and their involvement in decision-making for services for children is critical, valuable and direly needed. Far too often, the early childhood system leaves dads out of the equation, excluding them by either by overlooking or undervaluing their abilities, contributions and interest.
National Center for Family and Parent Leadership
Our Mission.
Supporting Black father's by empowering them in their knowledge around Maternal and Infant Health. Giving them the oppertunity to have a safe space to speak on issues that affects them the most, while breaking down the stigma and increasing mental health awareness for Black men. To make sure our Black fathers are seen and heard in an unjust health care system that affects the lives of their partner and children.
