The weather is giving us one last gift before winter settles in — and we’re taking full advantage of it! As the season changes and the days grow shorter, we’re inviting our community to come together in joy, laughter, and playfulness for one more outdoor celebration at Sterling Street Sanctuary.
Our Donut on a String Contest is exactly what it sounds like: sweet, silly, and joyful. It’s a reminder that even when times are hard, we can still gather in love and community. And right now, we need that more than ever.
Many of our neighbors are facing increased food insecurity, and on November 1st — the very day of this event — federal cuts to food stamps will make that even worse. In the face of such heaviness, we choose connection. We choose sweetness. We choose to show up for one another in ways that feed both body and spirit.
So bring a smile, a warm heart, and maybe some apple cider or donuts to share. Come ready to play, laugh, and be reminded of the joy and abundance that we create when we come together as a community.
