Join pianists Anna and Dmitri Shelest on Thursday, February 6 and Friday, February 7 as they celebrate the worldwide release of Donna Voce Vol. 3 and perform works from the growing Donna Voce discography. This romantic program will feature Fanny Mendelssohn’s monumental piano solo cycle Das Jahr (The Year), as well as Cécile Chaminade’s charming salon Pieces Romantique Op. 55 for piano four hands and her extravagant Concertstück Op. 40 for two pianos.
Donna Voce is an ongoing musical project that celebrates works by women composers from the 19th to the 21st century. The third album in the series features Clara Schumann's Piano Concerto and Cécile Chaminade’s Concertstück with Neeme Järvi and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
