Yoga Nidra (or yogic sleep) is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. You'll receive a few needles to help ground you. Then Jennifer Evans, yoga teacher, will guide you to a state in which the body is relaxed and the mind becomes quiet through stages of body scan and breath awareness. You will gently enter a state of deep rest that calms the nervous system, reduces stress and leaves you feeling restored. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be able to lie down for 60 minutes.
