Please join The SUP Pod for a special guided relaxation SUP class. This event has been created to benefit Kathy Bunton. Kathy has been a long time supporter of The SUP Pod, and is the owner of Delta Kayak Adventures. She has been teaching kayaking skills, and leading tours on the CA Delta for many years now. With a vast knowledge of water safety, and love for her local waterways, you can find Kathy at the Antioch Marina either taking fishing groups out, or leading one of her week long Delta River Camps for kids. She is the ultimate water woman. In March of 2023 Kathy’s home was destroyed by a sizable garage fire. This event is to support her, and her family as they transition back into their home hopefully in the month of June. It’s been a long journey. Let’s gather on the water to thank and support The Bunton.
Sign up under special events at The SUP Pod website. There are many ways to donate. Any amount helps. If you are bringing your own gear you must bring your own board, fin, paddle, leash and PFD. We will also have a limited number of SUP rentals so if you need a rental sign up soon.
Class will max out at 10 people. We will start promptly at 5:00. The meet time for this event is 4:30pm. This allows time to prep gear. This is a beginner friendly class.
