When Merritt was one year old, she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer. Over the next 1.5 years, Merritt relied on generous blood and platelet donors to give the gift of life so she could fight for hers. Merritt is now five years cancer free! π She loves math, clothes, and playing with animals in her backyard. Merrittβs family now holds blood drives with OneBlood to give back to a future child in need.
