Domocile (Domo) is a 4-piece electronic-infused instrumental jam band formed in Wilmington, NC in 2023 (Chase Farnitano - Guitar/Ableton, Wolf Lampke - Keys, Brandon Bales - Bass, Will Walter - Drums). Inspired by acts such as STS9, Papadosio, Khruangbin and Phish, Domo combines dark, funky guitar riffs, space-driven synth and EDM-inspired vocal samples with a dynamic rhythm section to create a unique soundscape that is equal parts dancy and atmospheric.
Domo relies heavily on live improv and takes pride in ensuring each set is its own uniquely curated performance. This attention to detail has garnered them a local reputation as a can’t-miss live show.
In September 2024, Domo announced the introduction of their new weekly EP release, titled “Domo Doses”. These self-produced EP’s, consisting of live recordings from practices, improv jams and shows, chronicle the progression of the band as they develop their sound. Throughout 2024, Domo supported such acts as PAPADOSIO, DIZGO, and THE KEITH ALLEN CIRCUS. In 2025, Domocile plans to introduce their sound to as many new cities as possible and record an album at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN.
