Projekt 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙨 Dominika Adamce se skládá ze série dvaceti osmi ideových konceptů, z nichž každý sám o sobě je svébytným dílem, tvořícím komplexní uměleckou syntézu promyšleně vrstvených odkazů. Některé nabývají formy keramických pohřebních uren rozličných velikostí, tvarů a barev, jež nesou své vlastní významové sdělení, pracující s jazykem, dualismy nebo reprezentací a na první pohled člověka ohromí svým zpracováním a barevností. Jiné mají podobu drobných kreseb, jež daly vzniknout jednorázovým tetováním. Jakousi výchozí premisou pro celou sérii byla situace dnešního odosobněného přístupu ke smrti. Její existenci člověk doslova odsunul na okraj svého zájmu, stala se něčím nepředstavitelným a příliš vzdáleným. Setkání s ní pak bývají o to méně příjemná. Naopak, přijetí smrtelnosti - schopnost “žít se smrtí” - nám může určitým způsobem přinést duševní vyrovnanost a klid. Dominikovy sochy-urny navíc v mnoha případech tematizují rozličné podoby vztahů a jednání člověka k sobě samému, ke svému okolí a k dalším bytostem. Mají potenciál být nejen upomínkou na smrtelnost člověka, ale současně podnětem k sebereflexi během života. Každá z nich obsahuje nespočet drobných detailů a různých kulturních odkazů, jež tvoří často nečekaná spojení. Ta mohou vyvolat řadu otázek a narušit stereotypní vnímání smrti, které je spojené s tím, jak o smrti mluvíme a tedy i přemýšlíme.

Dominik Adamec’s project 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙨 consists of twenty-eight conceptual ideas, each a distinctive work in its own right, forming a complex artistic synthesis of carefully layered references. Some take the form of ceramic funerary urns of various sizes, shapes, and colors. Each carries its own semantic message, engaging with language, dualities, or representation, and at first glance, their intricate craftsmanship and vibrant colors are striking. Others appear as small drawings that have been transformed into temporary tattoos. The initial premise for the whole series was today’s detached approach to death. In modern times, death has been pushed to the margins of our awareness—rendered unimaginable, too distant to grasp. As a result, encounters with it become all the more unsettling. On the other hand, embracing mortality—the ability to "live with death"—may, in a way, bring us a sense of inner peace and balance. Moreover, Dominik’s urn-sculptures often explore different aspects of human relationships—how we act toward ourselves, our surroundings, and other beings. They hold the potential not only to remind us of our own mortality but also to prompt self-reflection in life. Each urn contains a multitude of complex details and cultural references, forming often unexpected connections. These connections have the power to provoke questions and disrupt the stereotypical perception of death—one that is shaped by how we speak of it and, therefore, how we think about it.
