Join us on Saturday, the 1st of March, as Unley Concert Band, in collaboration with Playford International College, Tunisian Nights Little Big Band, the Royal Caledonian Society Pipes and Drums, and Enfield Brass, remembers and celebrates the life of instrumental teacher, conductor, instrumentalist, and friend, Dominic Meehan.
This special memorial concert will be held at Elder Conservatorium, generously provided by the South Australian Band Association, and will culminate in a massed band performance of Highland Cathedral, for any musicians wishing to participate.
Dominic Meehan was a cherished instrumental music teacher, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist who inspired countless musicians across South Australia. His passion for music resonated through his involvement with a wide array of ensembles, from big bands and concert bands to bagpipes, leaving a lasting legacy in the musical community.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Leukaemia Foundation, in gratitude for their support and advances in medical research, which were so fundamental to Dom's own leukaemia treatment.
