Completion of this course requires attendance of class Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in order to receive a certificate. Friday begins with continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m. and training from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with lunch and snacks provided. Saturday begins with continental breakfast at 8:15 am and training from 8:30 to 5:30 p.m with lunch and snacks provided.
In order to be eligible for this course, you must have completed the Family Mediation training sessions.
The purpose of this course is to enable family mediators to understand and work effectively with the differences in mediating cases where some form of domestic abuse has occurred. Mediators will learn the differences in mediating cases where there has been abuse and the importance of maintaining balance and control in the mediation process
The cost of this 2-day (16-hour) professional course is $835 and includes all materials and meals. Completion of the course requires attendance during both full days. For participants also seeking CLE credit, there will be a special additional fee of $250. Meals and snacks/coffee will be served.
A minimum number of registrations is required to conduct each training. Participants will be notified of cancellations/rescheduling directly.
