Take the lead in sustainable living with our hands-on "Domestic Retrofit in Practice" 2-day workshop, designed specifically for the unique needs of homes across Fife. This course will equip energy advisors, homeowners, and building professionals with the practical skills and knowledge to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance while addressing fuel poverty in our communities.
Throughout the workshop, you'll work with local experts to explore critical areas such as whole house retrofitting, building physics, renewable technologies, airtightness, and insulation. You'll also gain valuable insights into supporting tenants and homeowners with effective retrofitting strategies, maintaining good indoor air quality, and choosing the proper insulation and building treatments.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be empowered to help residents make informed decisions that lead to more energy-efficient, comfortable, and environmentally friendly homes, all while considering local regulations, climate, and building traditions.
Join us at one of our six sessions at Fife College campuses and take your first step toward making Fife’s homes greener, more energy-efficient, and more equitable for everyone.
Due to restrictions within Eventbrite, we can only advertise the first date of each cohort. Please select the first date of your chosen cohort, and this will register you for both days of that workshop.
