Speaker Bios
KELLY LINDQUIST-RAY
Kelly is a sought-after speaker on the Blessed Ulma Family. Kelly’s husband, Ian, a Knight of Columbus and fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, was diagnosed with leukemia on March 24th, 2021, the anniversary of the martyrdom of the entire Ulma Family. Kelly has shared her family’s journey and their continued friendship with the Ulmas in a series of articles which recount her husband’s diagnoses, treatment, and passing into eternal life. Her writings masterfully unfold the beauty of married love, power of intercessory prayer, and salvific suffering. Kelly is a homeschooling mother of seven and lives with her family in Hyattsville, Maryland. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.
PATTY MAZARIEGOS
Patty Mazariegos, educator and writer, holds a Master’s Degree in Catechesis from The Catholic University of America and a Master’s Degree in Matrimony and Family Studies from the University of Navarre in Spain. An educator for more than two decades, she currently serves as an instructor for the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) and as a part-time faculty at the Catholic International University. She has written more than 60 articles about marriage and family life and is the author of a family-based catechetical program that aligns with ADW’s “Forming Disciples” Curriculum Guide for Hispanic parents. Patty’s most important work is spending time with her husband and seven boys. Her inspiration is incarnate in her closest teammates — her family.
