These decisions have been years in the making, and I appreciate all the ways Dome District businesses have engaged with the City and transit agencies as we plan for the future of this vital neighborhood. This year we will reach a decision point on multiple key projects. Sound Transit's Tacoma Dome Area Access Improvements – Sound Transit will prioritize improvements and you can weigh in on what should be top priority
Tacoma's Puyallup Avenue Redesign – the City of Tacoma will be determining the street scape design and we want to hear from you on your vision for this street scape
Sound Transit's Tacoma Dome Link Extension (TDLE) - the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) will be issued later this summer, which will initiate a public input opportunity regarding the environmental impacts and mitigation measures for the project, and begin discussions about the preferred station location, which the Sound Transit Board is expected to decide on near the end of this year.
