Dom Turner & The Rural Blues Project
Voted ‘Traditional Blues Artist of the Year’ 2022 and again in 2024 by the Sydney Blues Society, multi award winning Australian blues artist, Dom Turner is best known as guitarist, lead vocalist, and founding member of the renowned Australian blues group, Backsliders as well as other international collaborations including R.L. Boyce with Dom Turner, The Turner Brown Band and Phil Wiggins & Dom Turner.
Dom was recently invited by legendary US guitarist Derek Trucks to guest with The Tedeschi Trucks Band appeared at the State Theatre in Sydney an event captured on video
With The Rural Blues Project Dom presents a mix of upbeat raw electric rural blues songs—from Charley Patton to Lead Belly, Fred McDowell to RL Burnside—as well as some originals. Joining Dom is the shuffle king himself, legendary drummer Rosscoe Clarke (Foreday Riders, Cyril B Bunter), and accordion, melodica and keyboard master. Johnny G

“Continental” Robert Susz
“Continental" Robert Susz is best known as the lead singer, harmonica player and songwriter for the 1980s touring Soul band The Dynamic Hepnotics who had a National Smash Hit with his composition "Soul Kind Of Feeling". In the 90s he was doing the same with funky Blues combo The Mighty Reapers who released half a dozen award winning albums in Australia and the USA. They were also the band of choice to back touring USA Blues and Soul artists including Big Jay McNeely, Margie Evans, Louisiana Red, Lucky Peterson, Hubert Sumlin to name a few, also recording albums with Margie and Big Jay.
"Continental" Robert is continuing his tradition of working the Feel Good BLUES and Down Home SOUL with his current combo THE CONTINENTAL BLUES PARTY featuring an All Star combo of Adam " Hit Single" Pringleguitar, "Baby Hewey" Alex Hewetson bass & "Skinny Junior" Antero Ceschin drums.
