(in English below)2. oktoobril toimub Tartu Ülikooli raamatukogu konverentsisaalis populaarteaduslike loengute konkurss, kus noorteadlased tutvustavad eesti või inglise keeles oma teadustööd kolleegidele ja avalikkusele. Kõik huvilised on oodatud ettekandeid kuulama!
⚡️Välkkõnes peab doktorant kolme minuti jooksul selges keeles ja haaravalt kokku võtma oma uurimistöö ajendiks olnud probleemi, selle lahendamisviisid, esialgsed tulemused ning mõju. Igast esitusest valmib kohapeal videosalvestis ja parimatel avaneb võimalus esindada ülikooli jätkuvõistlustel.
Doktorant, tule pane end proovile ja jaga teistega oma põnevat teadustööd!
Registreeru hiljemalt 19. septembril. Kõik osalejad saavad soovi korral konkursieelsel nädalal läbida ka ingliskeelse koolituse.

On 2 October, a competition of short popular-science lectures for active doctoral students and junior research fellows will be held in the University of Tartu Library Conference Hall, where participants present their research to colleagues and the general public in Estonian or English. Everyone is welcome to listen to the presentations!
🛗 In an elevator pitch format, the doctoral students must summarise the problem that motivated their research, its solutions, preliminary results and implications in plain language and engaging style. All presentations will be video recorded, and the best presenters will have the opportunity to represent the university in the follow-up competitions.
Dear doctoral student, come and challenge yourself and share your exciting research with others!
Register by 19 September! All participants can also attend a training session the week before the competition.
