Leveraging the NZ-EU Free Trade Agreement. Hear from the Officials, Learn from the Experts
About this Event

The European Union is one of the world’s largest and most lucrative markets – and New Zealand now has a free trade agreement that delivers new benefits to a wide range of export and business sectors wanting to do business in the EU.

This event is not to be missed, here’s why:

  • Hear from a panel of trade experts about the ins and outs of the FTA
  • Learn from business leaders and exporters already doing business in the EU
  • Plenty of time to ask questions and engage with our expert panels
  • Network and swap stories with other exporters in the room

The new FTA has already delivered a tariff saving of $100 million a year, with 91 per cent of New Zealand’s current goods trade entering the EU tariff free. But the FTA does more than remove tariffs – there are great outcomes for businesses interested in:

  • Government procurement in the EU
  • Education services
  • Aviation services
  • Access to investment opportunities
  • Sustainable development
