Show Synopsis:
After a 4-year deployment, Eddie Birdlace returns from serving in the Vietnam War. He is going back to San Francisco, where he spent his final night in the USA before being shipped out. His memories of that night floor back: November 21, 1963 where Eddie joins his buddies in a cruel "dogfight: contest to bring the ugliest date they can find. When Eddie invites Rose, a shy waitress, their unexpected connection forces him to confront his actions and rethink the world he thought he understood.
Dogfight explores serious and potentially triggering themes and depictions that may be distressing including: misogny, harassment, crude languae, sexual content, war and discussions of violence. Viewer discretion is advised.
DOGFIGHT is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
