Come and experience Yoga with your dog.This mindful movement class brings together soft stretching, slow breathing and easy movements, offering a mind and body connection for you and your dog.
Offering a relaxing bonding time that builds balance, comfort and calm as you follow a gentle guided routine and why not follow with a beverage.
This session is held by experienced dog handler trainer Sam from Dog’s Walk and Kinesiologist Lee Miller from Spark of Awareness.
Lee will be leading us through a sequence of movements to work on building muscle tone and connections, with soft stretching and somatic releases for reducing stress and tension.
This will be a calming and bonding experience for you and your dog.
Your dog is not required to practice in any particular moves. They will have the opportunity to sit alongside you as you practice movement and mindfulness.
Dogs will not be loose, and will be leashed to you.
Dogs must be comfortable in presence of other people and dogs.
Bring a Yoga Mat, a bed or blanket for your dog and a blanket or two for you to use as a pillow and a cushion.
Who we are :
Lee Miller is a Naturotherapist, a Pilates teacher and Kinesiologist. She is also trained in Bodytalk therapy and Reiki for people and animals.
Sam, otherwise known as Sandra is the owner of Dog’s Walks & More.
A local dog training business in Fredericton.
With over 30 years of experience, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge, confidence, and calm handling skills to every class.
She has previously taught Doga sessions alongside Lee and is excited to share this unique, fun experience with you and your dog.
