About this Event
For over a decade, Lee Morgan has treated dogs on-site at the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. And now, he lets us into the behind-the-scenes in his new book Four Thousand Paws: Caring for the Dogs of the Iditarod: A Veterinarian's Story! We thought the perfect way to celebrate, and bring this book to life, would be a dog happy hour in addition to an author talk and Q&A with Morgan.
Join us on Tuesday, May 28th, in the gardens behind the Ivy, to grab a drink for yourself, kick back with your dog friends (on leashes, please!), and learn about the details of caring for elite canine athletes-- and the full spectrum of emotional experiences that accompany that process.
